Our Journey
Four years of growth, learning, and delivering quality service to Calgary
The Beginning
Vantage Detailing started in January 2021 as Nick's Mobile Detailing, founded by Nick Lovett while he was still in high school. With his driver's license in hand and an eye for opportunity, Nick began detailing cars around Calgary during his first summer — learning the basics, gaining experience, and getting his first few clients.
Building Momentum
In 2022, Nick returned for another summer season — still running solo — and steadily grew the business through word of mouth. His commitment to reliability, quality, and customer service began to earn him repeat clients and a reputation for detail-oriented work.
Teaming Up
By 2023, demand had grown enough that Nick brought on his friend Coen Molyneaux to help. The duo hustled hard, refining their systems and increasing capacity. That summer marked a new level of growth as they completed dozens of details while keeping quality high.
The Van Era
To take things to the next level, Nick and Coen purchased and fully outfitted a dedicated detailing van, allowing them to offer faster, more professional service across Calgary. Despite challenges like the Calgary water main crisis, they adapted quickly and completed 112 full details that summer — their busiest season yet.
Transition to Vantage
With Nick taking on new projects and a summer internship, the business evolved into Vantage Detailing — a new name, but the same commitment to excellence. The reins have been handed off to a new team of student entrepreneurs who are carrying the brand forward, continuing to deliver high-quality mobile detailing to clients across Calgary.
